A full release date isn't attached to the game yet, but it should land soon after Insider sessions conclude. The current flight is testing essentially every component of the upcoming Halo 3 PC port, including the campaign, multiplayer, Forge, Theater, as well as an updated armor customization system, among other features. Apparently, this should cover everyone who has opted into being a Halo Insider on PC, so anyone who didn't get in should probably double-check their information on the testing portal at HaloWaypoint.

Halo 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie Studios and published by Microsoft. Some of the newer weapons showed off in the trailer are a sticky grenade launcher and a rail gun that can kill in one hit, but has a relatively long down-time between shots. The video also displays the revamped sound effects of popular weapons from the earlier games, such as the pistol, DMR, rocket launcher and shotgun. The trailer mostly attempts to show off the completely rebuilt new sound effects for the weapons in Halo 4. The ruins of this icy, urban cityscape create the perfect multiplayer map for close-quarters squad combat. The developers had also released a trailer that showed off the new weapons and sound effects in August.
The other game modes in the upcoming FPS (first person shooter) includes deathmatch, team deathmatch and Oddball, among others. It is one of the many other game modes that will feature in Halo 4. It isn’t a graphical showcase by modern standards, but the older Halo games still look pretty solid all. The video, released on PAX prime, shows off the Capture the Flag game mode in the Exile map, which was revealed quite some time ago.
